'Economic recovery is my priority'

DAVAO CITY: Mayor-elect Sebastian 'Baste' Duterte said that his incoming administration will prioritize economic recovery and poverty alleviation as he rallied Davaoeños for their continued support and cooperation for a stronger and better future for the city.

'The city government will make sure that businesses will continue to operate. Job opportunities will be available and our citizens remain safe and healthy,' Duterte said during his inaugural speech held in front of the City Hall on Monday, June 27.
