CAMARINES Sur Second District Rep. Luis Raymund Villafuerte encouraged incoming president Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (BBM) on Tuesday to consider extending the Libreng Sakay (Free Ride) transportation program in the face of constantly rising fuel costs.
Villafuerte said that buses, jeepneys and transport network vehicle services (TNVS) have requested fare hikes from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), which, if allowed, could make commuting even more difficult.
