NORWEGIAN Jo Even 'Joe' Tomren has been around the maritime industry for decades, learning, enjoying and contributing to some of its major sectors until his experience later brought him to the Philippine shores as a seasoned maritime training executive.

Growing up in a fishing town on the west coast of Norway, Tomren has always believed that he has saltwater running through his veins.
