SGH transforms into regional hospital

THE South Cotabato provincial government has turned over the management of the Soccsksargen General Hospital (SGH) in Surallah municipality to the Department of Health (DoH) for its transition to a regional hospital.

Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. said the transfer came about after the signing of the memorandum of understanding where the DoH must pay P100 million to the provincial government of South Cotabato for the SGH development and operational expenses in the past.
