THE Philippine National Police (PNP) ordered its men in Metro Manila to employ "maximum tolerance" during the week-long implementation of the gun ban as part of the "full blast preparation to secure" the June 30 inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In a statement late Monday, NCRPO regional director MGen. Felipe Natividad said the Metrowide suspension in the issuance of and validity of gun permits and gun carrying privileges started on June 26 and will end on July 2, 2022.
