Puentevella inducted into IWF Hall of Fame

(UPDATED) SAMAHANG Weightlifting sa Pilipinas president Monico Puentevella was inducted into the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Hall of Fame on Saturday during the IWF Special and Electoral Congress held at the Albania Congress Convention Hall in Tirana, Albania.

Puentevella was recognized for his lifetime achievements in the sport. Under his presidency, the Philippines won its first Olympic gold medal in Tokyo, Japan last year courtesy of Hidilyn Diaz.
