Palace hits ICC 'politicization' over drug war probe request

(UPDATE) MALACAÑAN Palace on Saturday slammed the International Criminal Court (ICC) after its prosecutor requested to reopen an investigation into killings and other suspected rights abuses during outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte's war on illegal drugs.

In his request document, ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan argued that the Philippine government has failed to demonstrate that it has investigated numerous cases of killings in its drug war operations.
