Sky is the limit for Oftana

HAD he not missed games in the previous season, Calvin Oftana would have been a big help for the NLEX Road Warriors, who made it to the semifinals of the Governors' Cup. It was only the second time the franchise has reached the Final Four and from here on, nothing less than a semis stint will be the ultimate target of the Yeng Guiao-coached team.

However, Oftana was still named in the PBA All-Rookie Team during the PBA Press Corps awards night, joining eventual Rookie of the Year Mikey Williams of TNT, Jamie Malonzo of NorthPort, Joshua Munzon of Terrafirma and Leonard Santillan of Rain or Shine. These were the top five rookie picks during the draft last year.
