TANZA, Cavite: An estimated 1,000 senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) residents of Tanza had the opportunity to find work after they participated in a local recruitment activity conducted by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the local government recently. In collaboration with the SM Store and PESO-Tanza, a courtesy lane was given to senior citizen applicants. Aside from the additional income, it is also an opportunity for senior citizens to earn a living using their skills. The SM Store clarified that senior citizens and PWD applicants will also go through the proper process. Mayor Yuri Pacumio said 80 percent of the workforce of the opening of SM Tanza is expected to come from their town. The opening of SM City Tanza located at Antero Soriano Highway in Barangay Daang Amaya 2 will be the seventh SM mall in the province after SM City Bacoor, SM City Molino, SM City Dasmariñas, SM City Trece Martires, SM City Rosario and SM City Imus in Barangay Bucandala.
