THE Philippine Army announced on Friday that a new unit was formed to operate the 12 newly-acquired 155-mm self-propelled howitzers from Israel.
In a statement, Army spokesman Col. Xerxes Trinidad said that the 10th Field Artillery from the Army Artillery Regiment (AAR) will be led by Lt. Col. Chamberlain Esmino. It was activated on June 22, during the 15th founding anniversary of the AAR at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
