BSP raises interest rates to maintain stability

THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) raised its key interest rates once more on Thursday as expected, further adjusting its monetary policy settings to maintain macroeconomic stability in the face of rising global commodity prices and significant external headwinds.

Effective today, June 24, 2022, the policy-making Monetary Board raised the central bank's overnight borrowing, lending and deposit rates by 25 basis points (bps) to 2.50 percent, 2 percent and 3 percent, respectively.
