Smart backs SIM registration bill

PLDT's wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) is supporting the passage of the SIM Card Registration Bill.

Earlier, Sen. Grace Poe, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Services, urged members of the incoming 19th Congress to immediately pass the measure to effectively prevent text scams.
