Lacson sees new progress for Negros

BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said he is 'excited' over the possible realization of the Negros Island Region (NIR) and the Panay-Guimaras-Negros Bridge (PGNB).

Lacson's statements came after Bacolod City Mayor-elect Alfredo 'Albee' Benitez said the reestablishment of NIR and the construction of the PGNB have the support of President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.
