70% of PH phishing tries finance-related

FROM February to April of this year, phishing attempts in the Philippines were targeted at financial transactions seven out of 10 times, or 68.95 percent of the time, Kaspersky reported.

The cybersecurity company said in a statement on Wednesday that the Philippines had the highest percentage of phishing attempts in Southeast Asia, according to anonymized data voluntarily provided by its clients.
