Toyota expands solar facility in Laguna plant

TOYOTA Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) expanded its solar facility as part of the company's plan to make its Santa Rosa, Laguna plant carbon-neutral by 2035.

In a statement on Wednesday, TMP said it increased its solar power system's capacity by 0.46 megawatt (MW) to further the company's minimum renewable energy (RE) ratio to 18 percent. The solar facility's capacity is now 1.46 MW.
