Marcos bucks scrapping of fuel excise tax

PRESIDENT-ELECT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. is not likely to agree to the scrapping of excise tax on oil, believing that doing so will not directly help those who are affected by skyrocketing oil prices.

'I prefer to handle the problem on the other side of the equation and provide assistance to those who are in need,' he said.
