PPA's disaster response plans to increase port resiliency

THE Philippine Port Authority (PPA) said strengthening port resiliency using a good forecast system will mitigate the effects of climate change.

PPA Assistant General Manager Hector Miole said port authorities can handle severe storms better by allowing them to plan for how disasters will affect different ports and devise how to maintain operations.
