JINAN, China: Although global supply chains have entered a new phase of reconstruction and recalibration, China remains an important investment destination for multinational companies, a recent report found.

According to the report from the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation that was released at a summit in Shandong province's Qingdao city on Sunday, most foreign manufacturing firms in China still see the country as a major investment destination, with investment confidence still rising.
