NU's Bella Belen hailed as first UAAP women's volleyball rookie MVP

Bella Belen of National University bagged the Rookie of the Year (ROTY) and Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84 women's volleyball tournament on Tuesday.

Belen, who received her award before Game 2 of the Finals between her school and De La Salle University at the Mall of Asia Arena, became the first player in the league's women's volleyball history to win both plums in the same season.
