VP Sara's inauguration historic for Davaoeños

A HISTORIC event for Davao City took place on Sunday, June 19, as outgoing Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio took her oath as the next Vice President of the Philippines at San Pedro Square.

Duterte-Carpio is the youngest vice president in history and the first vice president from Mindanao. She was also the first to have been sworn into office in Davao City.
