JAPAN will resume sending volunteers to the Philippines, more than two years after it was halted due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic, the Japanese Embassy in Manila said.
In a statement on Tuesday, the embassy said the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) Program will resume the dispatch of volunteers to the Philippines.
