THE latest joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (Campi) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) showed double-digit growth for three consecutive months, something that is stimulating the sudden rash of activities by car companies.

In May, total vehicle sales reached 26,370 units, an equivalent of 19.5 percent growth compared with 22,062 units recorded in the same period a year ago.
