THE Philippine unit of a South Korean firm has been given regulatory approval to produce tapioca in Mindanao.
Daesang Philippines Corp.'s P756.24-million facility, with an annual capacity of 33,000 tons of tapioca and 4,446 tons of residue as a byproduct, is scheduled to start operations in January 2023 in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
