New Defense chief renounces red-tagging

INCOMING officer in charge of the Department of National Defense Jose Faustino Jr. said that like incoming national security adviser Clarita Carlos, he is against 'red-tagging,' but will continue to 'unmask' communist terrorists.

'We are against red-tagging. We do not condone it, even when I was still with the armed forces, we do not condone red-tagging,' Faustino told The Manila Times in an exclusive interview.
