Filipino critical after US shooting

THE Philippine Consulate General in New York urged American law enforcers to bring justice to a Filipino who was critically injured in a random shooting in Philadelphia.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said that John Albert 'Jal' Laylo was on life support following reports that the Filipino lawyer died. Incoming Migrant Workers Secretary Susan 'Toots' Ople informed Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. about the incident.
