Globe deploys new next-gen equipment

GLOBE Telecoms over the weekend announced the use of next-generation antennas to facilitate faster internet speeds, particularly the 4G (fourth generation) acceleration and 5G (fifth generation) evolution.

In a statement, Globe said this will be the first in the world as the company completed the deployment of a new series of antennas that efficiently enables the acceleration of 4G, and the evolution of 5G technology — a step that seeks to boost the company's 4G and 5G network and ensure energy efficiency.
