Policy blinders President Marcos should avoid

BEFORE the headline topic, a quick reflection on today's June 19 celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, or Corpus Christi. Most Catholics have zero idea of the abasement God undergoes when He takes the form of bread and wine in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

Yet, young people may actually get a tiny sense of what the Almighty goes through with His Real Presence in the Eucharist. Take Superman, the Mighty Thor or some other immensely powerful denizen of the cinematic or comic book world.
