PSHS student invents device for the visually impaired

PHILIPPINE Science High School (PSHS) Central Visayas Campus student Vaughn Matthew Valle has created a device to help visually impaired people navigate their way around their environment and perform everyday tasks.

The System for Assisting a Visually Impaired User, or Vision, is a device that may look like ordinary sunglasses but it is able to process visual signals from the user's environment such as persons and objects, and send audio signals or alerts to the user.
