COMMISSION on Higher Education (CHEd) Commissioner Dr. Ronald Adamat has formally received the Mahatma MK Gandhi Peace Prize for Non-Violent Peace 2021 during Saturday's ceremony, which put him in the same level with past awardees like Britain's Margaret Thatcher, former United States of America president Jimmy Carter, South Africa's Nelson Mandela and Russia's Mikhail Gorbachev, among others.
Receiving the actual award through the Heavenly World Peace Restoration of Lights (HWPL) led by its country manager John Rommel Garces, Adamat got several congratulatory greetings from various sectors along with President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (BBM), Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio and lawmakers led by Sen. Sherwin "Win" Gatchalian.
