ANALYSTS see the continuance of last week's local market movement into Monday, June 20, as for the 3rd week of June 2022, the PSEi declined for the second straight week, by a total of -198.48 points or -3 percent (after the previous week's -211.36 points or -3.1 percent).
According to Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. chief economist Michael Ricafort and 2Trade Asia, the hawkish sentiment of the Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) and other central banks in tightening monetary policy continued to weigh on market sentiment as a whole.
