PROCTER & Gamble's (P&G) Safeguard, Manila Water Foundation and the Department of Education (DepEd) School District representatives gathered last May 4, 2022 in Microtel by Wyndham Hotel in Quezon City to take the SAFEwash Movement to new heights. Present in the turnover event were Jeune San Juan from P&G Safeguard, the Manila Water Foundation representatives led by Reginald Andal and DepEd School Division heads from the 17 partner locations.

The event is Safeguard and Manila Water Foundation's way of further strengthening the SAFEwash Movement's goal — to protect the future of the Philippines by protecting the teachers who hone it. On top of donating for pilot face-to-face classes, Safeguard Philippines donated P5-million more worth of hand soaps and sanitizers to partner schools.
