Mindanao gun attacks leave four dead

FOUR persons were killed and six were injured in separate gun attacks in Cotabato City and in the nearby Maguindanao town of Datu Odin Sinsuat, police said on June 13.

Cpt. Jetto Yang, Police Station 3 chief, said a group of teenagers on board a black Toyota sedan was ambushed around 7 p.m. Sunday by still unidentified gunmen in Barangay Kalanganan 2, Cotabato City. Two teenagers were killed and six of their companions were injured during the ambush. Police said the two victims, whose identities were withheld pending investigation, were pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.
