Magnitude 5.3 quake rattles Ilocos Sur
A magnitude 5.3 earthquake hit Ilocos Sur on Thursday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs chief Renato Solidum Jr., said that the tremor took place at 2:08 p.m. some 53 kilometers southwest of Candon, also in the province.
