Independent pandemic tracker OCTA Research has called on President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to choose a health secretary who 'would be a champion' for the Filipino people and should not be an apologist.

It comes after the group was criticized by the DoH and several experts who questioned its assessment that the National Capital Region (NCR or Metro Manila) is now under moderate risk based on its own metrics.
