'Mandatory use of face masks prevails'

(UPDATE) THE resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) on the mandatory wearing of face masks shall prevail over executive orders issued by local government units, Malacañang said Tuesday.

Acting Palace spokesman Martin Andanar said the IATF resolutions were backed by President Rodrigo Duterte's own directives.
