Cambodia eyes naval exercise with China

IN an effort to boost its defense capabilities, Cambodia's Defense Ministry said on Sunday it was working to hold a joint naval exercise with China in the Southeast Asian country's waters.

'The military working group at the Ministry of National Defense is now studying and examining the plan in order to resume the naval and military exercises between the two countries,' military spokesman Gen. Chhum Sucheat told state-run Khmer Times.
