LEGAZPI CITY: A rare megamouth shark (Megachasma pelagios) was found lifeless on the shore of the coastal village of Bagacay in Gubat town, Sorsogon province on Saturday, June 11.
Nonie Enolva, BFAR regional spokesman, confirmed that the shark was found beached. The agency is trying to determine the cause of its death.
