Dengue kills 17 in Soccsksargen

SEVENTEEN people have died from dengue fever in Soccsksargen, while 1,664 others have been infected with the mosquito-borne disease since January this year, the regional health office reported on Thursday.

Dr. Dyan Zubelle Parayao, head of the Department of Health (DoH) Region 12 epidemiology and surveillance unit, said the figures cover January 1 to May 21.
