Nora Aunor thanks Duterte, family, fans for National Artist conferment

VETERAN actress Nora Aunor expressed her gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte, a day after he signed her conferment as National Artist for Film, along with seven others in their respective fields of expertise.

In a statement in Filipino sent by Aunor to the media through veteran scribe Rodel Fernando, the 69-year-old actress also thanked 'God, the people who prayed and fought for the recognition, her family and her loyal fans'.
