PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has called on the military and the police to perform their sworn duties and "save the country," as he expressed his deep concern that drug syndicates would again emerge once he steps down from office.

In his pre-recorded speech, the outgoing President lamented why despite their relentless anti-drug campaign, law enforcers continue to seize large amounts of narcotics in anti-illegal drug operations.
