China open to more foreign investments

BEIJING: Foreign investors are welcome to further expand their businesses in China and share the benefits offered by the country's development, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said.

Ministry spokesman Gao Feng made the statement in response to questions on American online retailer Amazon's recent announcement that it would close its Kindle eBook store in China.
