PRESIDENT-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has gone slow in identifying his nominee for secretary of agriculture. Where he and his transition team have raced with the clock in coming up with names for other Cabinet positions and executive offices, he is noticeably unsure about his choices and policy direction in the field of agriculture and its various subsectors.
