THE positivity rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) increased slightly to 1.6 percent during the week of May 31 to June 6, according to the independent OCTA Research Group.

According to its senior research fellow, Dr. Guido David, the average number of cases per day also increased during the period, from 78 cases per day during the previous reporting week of May 24 to 30 to 86 during the present reporting week.
