THE Philippine Medical Association (PMA) endorsed Dr. Teodoro 'Ted' Herbosa, the special adviser of the National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF), as the next Department of Health (DoH) secretary.

Congratulating President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. (BBM) and Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio, outgoing PMA president Benito Atienza and incoming president Maria Minerva Calimag led their co-officers and members in urging Marcos to pick Herbosa for the Health post, citing his vast experience and expertise in health care systems, public health, hospital administration, trauma surgery, emergency and disaster medicine.
