Inflation jumps to 5.4% in May

HEADLINE inflation accelerated to 5.4 percent in May, the highest recorded since the 6.1 percent seen in November 2018, data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed.

The inflation during the month was up from the 4.9 percent in April this year and 4.1 percent in May last year.
