US donates more medical equipment

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar has thanked US Embassy Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Heather Variava for visiting Zamboanga and donating essential medical equipment from the US Agency for International Development (USAid) that will help boost the city's capacity to manage and mitigate the negative effects of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Climaco-Salazar said the equipment was donated to the Zamboanga City Molecular Laboratory in the village of San Roque.
