THE incoming economic team of the president-elect is a well-chosen one and of the highest caliber. How do I know that? The best of many gauges is that even the yellowest columnists in the yellowest newspapers have had to acknowledge that, whether grudgingly or a little more enthusiastically. I watched some of their interviews and only a close-minded and biased person would not say they have the right experience, mindset and have said rational and needed points in their interviews.

I am particularly happy that Secretary Diokno and Secretary Balisacan have noted the importance of manufacturing, agriculture and mining. They seem to be concentrating on core issues.
