BENEFICIARIES of the unconditional cash transfer (UCT) program will receive P1,000 — two months worth of the P500 per month promised by the outgoing administration — before June 30.
Undersecretary and Budget department officer in charge Tina Rose Marie Canda announced on Thursday that distribution of the money — two-thirds of a total P1,500 per beneficiary that she had said in March was all the government could afford — was assured following the signing of a joint circular.
