MELBOURNE: George 'Ferocious' Kambosos has risen from humble beginnings to the precipice of being crowned undisputed lightweight champion of the world, with boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao playing a big role.

For years, the heavily tattooed Australian, 28, has labored for recognition.
