CHR condemns murders of govt officers, supporters

THE Commission on Human Rights (CHR) has condemned the recent spate of killings involving local officials, political supporters, and members of the vulnerable sectors.

In a statement, CHR Executive Director lawyer Jacqueline Ann de Guia said that barely days after the CHR dispatched an investigation team to look into the killing of a village chief in Malabon, a similar crime had occurred in Agusan del Sur.
